Work Location: Bairnsdale, VIC (remote arrangements considered) | Full-Time | Salary Range: $80,000–$90,000 per annum

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Senior Management Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining financial integrity across the business. From journal entries and reconciliations to month-end reporting and fuel rebate calculations, your work will directly support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Process daily bank transactions and perform reconciliations
  • Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing and collections
  • Monitor fuel usage and calculate monthly rebates
  • Maintain and update accounting systems and customer pricing
  • Assist with month-end close and financial statement preparation
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Support asset register maintenance and accounts payable during peak periods
  • Contribute to statutory reporting and ad hoc financial analysis

What You Bring

  • Formal accounting qualification or currently studying toward one
  • 3+ years' experience in a commercial accounting environment
  • Strong grasp of accounting principles
  • Advanced Excel skills; Power BI experience a plus
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Viewpoint Vista highly regarded)
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve accounting issues
