Join Our Team as a Sales Assistant – Share the Beauty of Australian Opals with the World

Are you passionate about unique, high-quality jewellery and delivering exceptional customer experiences? Established in 1948, we are an industry-leading opal retailer dedicated in educating tourists about the stunning beauty of Australian Opals. We are looking for an experienced Sales Assistant to join our vibrant, friendly team in Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist international tourists in selecting the perfect Australian Opals
  • Educate customers on the unique qualities and history of opals
  • Deliver a personalised shopping experience that creates unforgettable memories
  • Maintain a well-presented store and high standards of customer service

What We're Looking For:

  • A polished, well-presented individual with an energetic, friendly personality
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Fluency in English (additional language skills are a plus)
  • Previous sales experience is essential; jewellery experience is a plus but not required

Our Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 10am – 5pm
  • Saturday: 10am – 4pm
  • No late-night trading
