Findstaff are looking for a reliable machine operator to join our client in a long term AFTERNOON position as part of their manufacturing/ finishing area, this position would suit someone who has worked in high speed manufacturing or food processing previously.

This is a fast paced manufacturing position you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining a slitting/ finishing machine, there will be competency based training provided on dayshift initially for a minimum of 4 weeks before you transition to full-time Evenings Monday to Friday 2pm - 10pm.

* You will need to complete a pre employment medical and drugs screening prior to commencing training.

What we are looking for ?

  • Previous experience in fast paced high speed manufacturing/ packaging.
  • Experience in flexo label printing would be advantageous.
  • Must have high level of attention to detail.
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn are essential to your success.
  • Willing to work a permanent night-shift 10pm to 6am (Sun to Thurs)
  • Full working rights within Australia (this is a long term position leading to fulltime employment)
  • Available for interview and start as soon as possible.

About you:

  • Physically fit, Pushing, pulling, lifting required.
  • Safety conscious and the ability to adhere to WHS policies and procedures.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Sound communication skills.
  • Willing to work in and maintain a clean work space.
  • A good attitude and able to work as part of a team.
  • Must enjoy working nights as after your training is complete thus will be a permanent nights position.
