Are you seeking a fresh challege and wanting to build a long term career ? Drake in ternational have multiple roles availble with one of our national clients in the Steel Manufacturing industry. We are looking for experieinced labourers & machine operators with a current forklift ticket for our Acacia Ridge location.

What we are offerning:

  • Monday to Friday roster
  • Day shift | 6am to 2pm | $37.87 ph
  • Afternoon shift | 2pm to 10pm | $43.55 ph
  • Early finishes Friday
  • Ongoing training opportunities
  • Good company culture

What you need:

  • Labouring or Machine operation experience
  • Current Forklift ticket or willingness to obtain one
  • Overhead gantry crane experience highly desirable
  • Mechanical aptitude highly regarded
  • Strong understanding & appreciation of work place safety practices
  • Must be available from Monday to Friday to work
  • Able to pass a Medical & Drug and Alcohol test
  • A great work ethic and abilty to turn up to your shifts
  • Reliable transport to work

Duties:

  • Operation of Steel processing machines feeding in rolls of Reo
  • Bar bending and general labouring required throughout shift
  • Forklift operation loading & unloadng of trucks, moving pallets & reo rolls around factory
  • Anything else required to keep the factory operational
