About the Role

We're seeking a hands-on Machine Operator to join the production team. You'll be working across a range of sheet metal machinery, following technical drawings, and ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate equipment including press brakes, laser cutters, roll formers and purlin machines
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and job instructions
  • Perform quality checks and inspections on finished products
  • Complete basic maintenance and routine machine checks
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and deadlines
  • Maintain a safe and tidy work environment at all times

What You'll Bring

  • Previous experience as a Machine Operator in sheet metal or related manufacturing
  • Proficiency in operating a variety of sheet metal machinery
  • Ability to read and understand technical/engineering drawings
  • High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and finish
  • Reliable, safety-focused and a strong team player
  • Current forklift licence (essential)
  • Willingness to complete a drug & alcohol screen

Highly Regarded

  • Trade qualification in sheet metal
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
