We're currently seeking an experienced and reliable VFFS Machine Operator to join our high-performing production team at our Colmslie facility - day and afternoon shifts available.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Setting up and operating VFFS machines for daily production runs.
  • Performing pre-start safety and equipment checks each shift.
  • Monitoring packaging quality and machine efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting minor mechanical issues to minimise downtime.
  • Completing accurate production records and logs.
  • Working safely in a cold environment (2–4°C) – full PPE provided.
  • Complying with PMFresh's strict food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience operating VFFS or other automated packaging equipment in a food or FMCG setting.
  • Sound mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting ability.
  • A team mindset and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a temperature-controlled environment.
  • Physically fit and able to complete manual handling tasks (lifting up to 10kg).
  • Flexible to work across various shifts, including weekends when required.
