Lead and Support Our Services Team – Team Leader (Catering, Cleaning & Support Services)

Step into a rewarding and dynamic leadership role as the Patient Services Team Leader where you'll guide and support a large, dedicated staffing team across catering, cleaning, security, and orderly services. You'll play a vital role in maintaining safe, high-quality services that directly impact the wellbeing of patients, staff, and visitors in our health facilities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support staff in catering, cleaning, security, and orderly services.
  • Ensure compliance with SA Health cleaning standards, infection control, and food safety requirements.
  • Manage rosters, payroll, and provide on-the-job training and support.
  • Undertake audits of cleaning and catering services to ensure quality outcomes.
  • Contribute to service delivery with hands-on catering/cook duties when required.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow Team Leaders and provide after-hours/on-call support.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Proven experience leading teams in catering, cleaning, or support services (healthcare experience an advantage).
  • Knowledge of SA Health cleaning standards, infection control, and food safety.
  • Food Safety Supervisor certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong rostering, payroll, and auditing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and training abilities to support staff development.
  • Resilience, initiative, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Applicant Information

This is a part time vacancy, working 37.5 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
