Job Description

Exciting opportunities are available to join the team at Epworth Richmond as a part-time or casual Patient Services Officer.  You will be responsible for multiple aspects of the pre-admission and admission process for our elective and emergency patients and report into the Patient Service Centre Manager.  

You will make an impact by:

  • Admitting and discharging of patients
  • Responding promptly to enquiries and requests
  • General administrative duties and entering patient's details to create admissions.
  • Creating Estimates and completing Health Fund Checks

You will have:

  • Strong computer literacy
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Ability to prioritise in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions according to hospital needs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience in health care, medical or health fund industry will be highly advantageous
