We are seeking a Contract / Freelance ArchiCAD House Designer to collaborate with our architectural team on single-house projects. The immediate opportunity involves a Classic Style residence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and prepare single-house design concepts and documentation.
  • Create functional and aesthetically refined residential designs.
  • Revise drawings based on review markups and client feedback.
  • Prepare preliminary working drawings, including interior elevations and detailed documentation.
  • Coordinate with structural and civil consultants, as well as energy rating assessors, and update drawings accordingly.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks prior to drawing issue.
  • Update drawings in response to building surveyor checklists.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' proven experience in the design and documentation of single houses.
  • Proficiency in ArchiCAD.
  • Strong understanding of Victorian planning requirements and the National Construction Code (NCC).
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
