Job description

Lazy Su is a modern asian eating house with a Korean, Japanese and Chinese inspired menu. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated full-time chef to join our team.

Applicants must have previous experience in a busy kitchen environment and be able to work autonomously in their role.

In addition we are looking for applicant who demonstrate the following:

  • High cooking standards with an attention to detail

  • High level of interpersonal, communication and team work skills

  • Good work ethic including the ability to work under pressure

  • Ability to maintain service standards

  • Good knife skills

  • Good with quick, consistent prep

  • Reliable and able to be flexible with a rotating roster

  • Experience using woks and other asian cooking equipment is desirable however not necessary

Experience in a similar role is necessary. You must have the right to work in Australia, and be available to work a flexible rotating roster.

Lazy Su currently operates 6 days per week (Tuesday-Sunday). Lazy Su is an established dining destination for locals and interstate guests.

Minimum qualifications - cert 4 in commercial cookery

Minimum experience - In a senior CDP/ sous chef or equivalent position for at least 2 years
