About the Role

We are seeking caring and dedicated Support Workers to join our residential aged care team on a casual basis. In this rewarding role, you will provide person-centred care and assist residents to maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life in a Christian community setting.

This role includes morning, afternoon, evening and weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate, respectful personal care

• Assist with daily living, mobility and wellbeing support

• Support residents to participate in meaningful social and lifestyle activities

• Maintain accurate documentation and care notes

• Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and fellow Support Workers

• Uphold our Christian values, culture and mission through everyday interactions

About You

You are a compassionate, reliable and professional Support Worker who shares our commitment to resident-centred care and a Christian culture of kindness and service.

You will bring:

• Experience in aged care or support work (preferred)

• Genuine passion for caring for older people

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to prioritise, work independently and in a team

• Warm and respectful approach to residents, families, staff and visitors

• Understanding of person-centered care principles

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care / Individual Support (or studying)

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain)

• Current First Aid & CPR (or ability to obtain)

• Proof of working rights in Australia

• COVID-19 & Influenza vaccinations as per aged care requirements

• Alignment with Christian organisational values
