About the opportunity

As the Student Integrity Reporting Lead, you will oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of student conduct, academic integrity, and complaints data across the Office of Educational Integrity (OEI) and the Student Affairs Unit (SAU). You will support strategic decision-making and internal oversight by ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements, including external reporting obligations.

Drawing on your high-level analytical skills and deep understanding of regulatory compliance and university frameworks, you will work with complex and sensitive data with integrity and discretion. In this critical role, you will also identify emerging trends and systemic issues, helping to drive proactive interventions and foster a culture of evidence-led continuous improvement.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • work within a dynamic team, reporting to the Deputy Registrar and Executive Director (Misconduct, Complaints and Appeals)

  • lead the analysis of student conduct, complaints, and academic integrity data to identify trends and risks

  • develop and maintain internal and external reporting frameworks aligned with compliance requirements

  • produce accurate and timely reports to support governance, compliance, and strategic planning

  • oversee secure management of sensitive data in line with institutional policies and procedures

  • collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and communicate insights clearly

  • drive continuous improvement through enhanced data processes, tools, and early issue detection systems.

About you

  • postgraduate qualifications and/or relevant experience in a related field

  • experience conducting investigations and assessments on compliance matters, including interpreting and applying relevant legislation and policy

  • ability to analyse data to identify trends and develop actionable strategies within the higher education regulatory context

  • experience collaborating with legal, compliance, and governance professionals and navigating reporting requirements of external regulatory agencies

  • strong ability to work independently and collaboratively, using sound judgement, discretion, and maintaining confidentiality

  • advanced skills in data analysis, data management, reporting, and understanding of scripting or programming languages is desirable

  • excellent communication, problem solving, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and provide clarity to complex ideas.
