About the opportunity
The HR Officer provides operational advice and support to university leaders and managers. Working with broad direction from other HR professionals, the HR Officers primarily responsible for, execution, implementation and administration existing HR policies, tools, programs and frameworks; and supporting the HR Consulting function through the execution of solutions to assist managers in their day-to-day people-related activities.
Your key responsibilities will be to:

general HR operational support in the resolution of enquiries via ServiceNow case management
-
work closely with the rewards team to assist in the reclassification of positions and job design
-
review Job Requisitions and Position Descriptions to ensure the accuracy of content
-
attend to immediate issues, providing timely, solutions focused responses to questions, seeking specialist assistance from within the HR portfolio when required
-
work across a variety of project and change initiatives
-
respond to and deliver reporting requests.
About you

excellent stakeholder abilities

solid experience using MS Excel
-
experience working with HR systems
-
experience with reporting and project based roles
-
tertiary qualifications - Human Resources or in relevant field and/or relevant work experience.
