**The Role**
As the Command and Control, Communications and Computers, and Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Design Governance Manager, you will work to Director C4ISR Design to lead a small team to provide the Secretariat function for the Information Environment Control Board (a monthly Senior Defence Committee) and Working Group.

Your key responsibilities will be:
Manage the Information Environment Control Board Secretariat and Working Group which includes:

- Producing documents such as forward work plans, minutes, agenda, action item logs, meeting slide packs and other essential documents.
- Supporting the Chair (Head of Force Integration) and their delegate (Director General Data and Systems Design) conducting the Board and Working Group.
- Liaising with Board and Working Group members and their staff to manage the forward work plan and to coordinate meeting attendees including Defence Senior Leadership.
- Conducting all necessary administration tasks including scheduling meetings, booking meeting rooms and monitoring the Group Mailbox.
- Managing support to information knowledge and management functions within the Directorate which includes:

- Maintaining Directorate access rights to the Defence Record Management System (Objective).
- Maintaining SharePoint web pages for the Directorate.

**About our Team**
C4ISR Design Directorate is responsible for establishing guidelines and requirements on C2 systems, communications, networking and ISR processing. C4ISR Design provides Defence with mechanisms that help it understand the joint war-fighting environment, how to choose which projects to pursue (i.e. assess risk, gaps, trade-offs and opportunities) and how to provide portfolio level guidance on systems development.

In this role, you’ll work in a diverse and fast paced working environment with a mix of highly skilled and talented ADF, APS and Contractors that advise the Department on some of the most complex issues facing the Joint Force. As C4ISR Design Governance Officer, you will directly support Head Force Integration and Director C4ISR Design in ensuring that the Future Force will be ready to Fight and Win.

- The ability to lead and mentor a small team to high performance.
- Manage priorities, meet deadlines and exercise discretion.
- Be able to work in a fluid environment by remaining flexible, agile and adaptable.
- A sound knowledge of committee secretariat activities in accordance with Defence policies and procedures, or relevant experience with Government secretariat functions.
