About the role

Ready to become the operational heartbeat of our delivery organization? We're seeking a Professional Services Resourcing Manager who thrives on orchestrating the perfect symphony of people, projects, and priorities. This isn't just about filling slots on a spreadsheet – you'll be the strategic mastermind ensuring our consulting engagements run like clockwork.

Picture yourself as the conductor of our project orchestra, using Kantata (PSA) as your baton to manage resource capacity, forecast demand, and keep Quartex's delivery engine purring. You'll collaborate with Project Managers, Delivery Leads, and CX leadership to create that sweet spot where utilization meets excellence and predictability becomes our superpower.

As our newest Professional Services Resourcing Manager, you'll:

• Take ownership of day-to-day and forward-looking resource planning in Kantata - keeping projects, people, and priorities perfectly aligned
• Match the right talent to the right work, balancing availability, skills, and business impact
• Stay one step ahead - spot capacity crunches and resourcing risks early and drive solutions fast
• Keep our resource data clean, current, and trustworthy
• Build and maintain rolling 13-week and quarterly forecasts that connect capacity, demand, and growth
• Partner with Finance and Delivery Leads to turn data into decisions that hit commercial targets
• Identify skill gaps and shape recommendations for hiring, contracting, or upskilling
• Lead weekly Resource Review sessions that bring clarity, transparency, and momentum to the delivery plan
• Communicate proactively with stakeholders - flagging constraints, sharing insights, and driving alignment
• Champion operational excellence by enforcing process discipline and integrating Sales pipeline data into forward planning

What You'll Bring

This role demands precision, proactivity, and backbone. You'll be at the centre of constant trade-offs, shifting priorities, and competing timelines - and you'll need to bring clarity, confidence, and discipline to every discussion. Think you've got what it takes to be our resource planning rockstar?

You'll also bring:

• 5+ years' experience in Resource Management, Professional Services Operations, or PMO, ideally within a software or technology vendor
• Hands-on expertise with Kantata (Mavenlink) or equivalent PSA tools like Kimble, OpenAir, or FinancialForce
• Deep understanding of SaaS delivery models, and both Fixed Price and Time&Materials concepts
• Analytical mindset - able to interpret utilization, pipeline, and capacity data with confidence
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to push back when needed
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational discipline
• Experience in mining, heavy industry, or enterprise B2B software is a strong plus
