What You'll Be Doing:
- Be the main point of contact for drivers for all non-dispatch issues.
- Assist Depot Manager with the Operations leave register.
- Assist in building and maintaining master roster, build future weekly driver rosters
- Ensure Licence compliance in HIVE and follow up outstanding staff.
- Ensure driver leave level is adhered to.
- Oversee and action driver occurrence records.
- Investigates and assists Customer Service team.
- Distribute non electronic driver payslips.
- Assist the Manager with Charters when required if applicable for your depot. Assist the Manager and in responding to Major incidents.
- Conduct drug and alcohol testing and/or tasks as required.
- Reconciliation for banking/petty cash/driver floats for relevant depots still selling cash tickets.
- Coach driver's and help develop their performance, offering feedback and demonstrate the desired skills and expected work ethic.
- Educate drivers on the way we do things and why we do them i.e. 'The Busways Way'
- Perform ad-hoc tasks and other duties as directed.
What You'll Bring:
- Demonstrated Operations knowledge including service delivery, rostering, incident management, performance management, employee relations, complaint handling, work, health and safety, inclusion and diversity.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, the capacity to successfully deliver high quality outcomes and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain successful relationships.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational and time-management skills
- Leadership capability, experience and demonstrated capacity to coach others. Creative thinker and proactive problem solver
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative and maintain a high degree of confidentiality when dealing with complex matters.
- Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have working rights in Australia
- Current Australian drivers licence issued by the relevant State.
