About the business

Habitat Noosa, is situated in 65 acres of beautiful National Park 25 minutes North of Noosa. We have a range of accommodation styles from camping to Luxurious glamping tents. Our on-site Bistro and Brewery operates 7 days a week providing delicious, affordable meals and unique craft beers created on site using our own Artesian water supply.

We are now seeking an enthusiastic Front Office Receptionist to join our fantastic reservations team.

The role requires a roster working Friday - Monday(Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday days off)

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for all areas of Front Office Reception, with tasks including, but not limited to:

  • Responding to accommodation enquiries & processing reservations and requests for information via a variety of mediums, including face-to-face, via telephone and via email
  • Performing check-ins & check-outs
  • Maintaining accurate guest accounts & guest history
  • Delivering a high level of professional customer service
  • This role involves interacting continually with customers and maintaining strong engagement with a positive and friendly approach at all times.

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate the following:

  • Passion for providing friendly, personalised customer service
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Competent using computer systems, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Enjoy working both autonomously and in a team environment
  • A genuine interest in a career within the tourism industry

Previous front office/reception experience is preferred, ideally in a hospitality/travel/tourism environment. Experience with Newbook and or FareHarbor reservations systems would be an advantage.

This is a permanent position suited to applicants that live within a 45 minute drive of Habitat Noosa.

You must have work rights for Australia and be a long term applicate.

The successful applicant must be able to work Friday - Monday with some flexibility.
