This is an exciting and varied full-time role within our Milson Serviced Apartments division located in Milsons Point. We manage approximately 40 privately owned fully-furnished residential apartments, accommodating short- and extended-stay guests.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of high quality accommodation for corporate and private clientele. You must possess a positive attitude, have strong personable & customer service focus, competent office & computer skills and be a team player able to work well individually. You will be working in a small and friendly team with a can do attitude.

The position is hands-on and inherits a wide variety of duties and responsibilities including:

* Processing reservations and operating booking system (RMS).

* Checking guests in and out.

* Inspection of apartments pre- and post-arrival to ensure presentation and cleanliness.

* Coordinating & assisting with housekeeping & maintenance where required

* Store room and stock organisation & recording stock levels;

* Stocking housekeeping supplies & cleaning chemicals;

* Counting and recording incoming linen from the laundry;

* Providing information about the apartments and the local area to guests.

* Meeting the varying demands of the in-house guests.

* General admin & other duties as required.

A practical working knowledge of operating household appliances eg. Washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, stove, oven, TV etc is highly desirable, but can be learned on the job.

Confidence handling minor maintenance items such as replacing light globes, tightening and fixing small loose items such as door knobs and handles is also desirable.

A good eye for detail and high level of accuracy is essential.

Key selection criteria for success in this role will be:

* The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

* Excellent communication and organisation skills and fluent in English

* Reliable and Punctual

Position would suit travel agent or someone who has worked in a multi-tasking property management position, or someone with operations experience within a hotel or serviced apartments.

This is position is Full-time, mostly during business hours between Monday – Friday, however the occasional weekend or evening shift may be required.

Minimum 6 months experience in hospitality or property management is required for this role.
