About our opportunity:

We have an opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Production Coordinator to join our manufacturing team in South Brisbane. Reporting to the Production Manager, the role is responsible for overseeing the hour-to-hour activities of production, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while optimising efficiency.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate production operations on a shift basis, to meet demand and efficiency targets.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety and food manufacturing standards (HACCP, GMP).
  • Monitor production processes and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Ensure timely and accurate production confirmation data entry into SAP while identifying and investigate inconsistencies.
  • Coordinate and motivate the production team, providing guidance, coaching and feedback.
  • Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Be a role model for working safely and promoting a safe working environment.

About You:

  • Degree or equivalent certification in Engineering, Dairy Technology, Food Science or related field
  • Leadership skills and ability to drive results
  • Strong organisation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. SAP knowledge is highly desirable
