About the Role:

As a Cook in our company, you will be reporting to the Chef in Kitchen and Head Chef and responsible for effectively assist in the kitchen operations to effectively delivering a high-quality service to our customers. The key responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:

· Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with Zeus Street Greek's recipes and standards.

· Ensuring that all food is cooked properly and served in timely manner and that is presented correctly.

· Responsible for food portion control, wastage management and stock purchase (receipt and storage)

· Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality dishes promptly.

· Assist in inventory management and stock rotation.

· Able to handle equipment, appliances, small wares, supplies, and tools effectively and as per requirements

· Ensure consistent and smooth running of food preparation and assisting the Chefs in Kitchen

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food storage areas.

· Adherence and awareness of Australian food & safety health standards & codes of practice

About You

Successful candidates will have the following.

· Relevant culinary qualifications (e.g., Certificate III in Commercial Cookery) or equivalent experience.

· Minimum 2.5-year experience in a similar role within a fast-paced kitchen environment.

· Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

· Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

· Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
