Business Support Officer - Intake

Make a Real Impact in the Disability Sector

We're looking for a part-time Business Support Officer - Intake to join our team and be the welcoming face of AYS. This is your chance to play a vital role in helping individuals and families navigate the NDIS and connect with the right supports.

What you'll be doing:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for new inquiries and referrals
  • Coordinating the intake process and allocating referrals to the right team members
  • Responding to NDIS service requests and linking participants to the right supports (Support Coordination, Plan Management, Therapy)
  • Facilitating first meetings and helping families understand their options under the NDIS
  • Collecting and collating information to ensure services align with individual NDIS plans
  • Onboarding new referrals into our systems and meeting a strict 48-hour KPI for participant contact

What we're looking for:

  • Strong administration skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Experience working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Knowledge of the NDIS and confidence working with children, young adults, and adults with disability (including Autism Spectrum Disorder)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with families, staff, and professionals
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with solid Microsoft Office skills
