The Business Support Officer reports to the Manager, Business Support and is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and management of the regional business support team, which provides a range of administrative services to regional management and staff, including support for operational, human resource (HR), finance, staff development and other functions.
The role also has responsibility for the accurate and efficient production of various functional area reports, correspondence, and documentation.
Through effective planning, governance and business improvement initiatives, the Business Support Officer actively contributes to the achievement of QAS business objectives and key performance indicators and provides a high level of assistance to the region in support of operational service delivery.
**We are seeking applicants who**:
- Are experienced in providing leadership, mentoring, and support to a small team in an environment of competing priorities.
- Have demonstrated experience in ensuring compliance and sound governance in relation to business support services.
- Have demonstrated experience in the maintenance of financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, debt management, reconciliation of corporate cards and the management of compliance with financial accountingreporting requirements.
- Demonstrate experience in preparing reports and providing meaningful and accurate analysis, and interpretation of data to inform businessdecisions.
- Are committed to driving business improvement.
- Are able to model respectful behaviour in the workplace and work as a productive and supportive member of a team.
