Work.

As the Trades coordinator, you will lead the Mechanical, Electrical and Civil teams responsible for delivering preventative, corrective and capital refurbishment activities across a broad range of water storage and delivery infrastructure. Additionally, you will ensure the teams are competent and compliant with Safety and Environmental and Regulatory requirements for their roles and are across and adhering to relevant Sunwater policies, standards, and business rules.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring contractor management processes are followed and works are completed to expected standards.
  • Actively leading Health & Safety in the workplace and enabling a culture of continuous improvement and change.
  • Seeking out and providing technical advice and support to Supervisors and Trades performing fault analysis of operational and maintenance issues
  • Ensuring the optimum use of resources by scheduling and prioritisation of works through collaboration, communication and proactive engagement across internal business units.

Please note due to the nature of this role, there will be a 1 in 2 on-call roster.

About you

We are seeking a strong leader with conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop strategies and solutions to complex issues. You will have a Cert III Trade Qualification alongside 10 years' experience post trade qualification, with 5 years of that in a supervisory capacity. You will enjoy working collaboratively and fostering positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

You will also bring:

  • Class 'C' driver's licence
  • Confined Space and Working at Heights or ability to obtain in the first 6 months
  • Well-developed Administration / Computer skills
  • SAP, Asset Manager, Cats, Myosh, SCADA, Aurion, Billing experience
