Project Coordinator

Austal is a global shipbuilder, Defence prime contractor and maritime technology partner. We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to lead our vessel programs for in-service support and maintenance.
The role will be responsible for managing and coordinating activities to ensure timely delivery and adherence to contractual requirements.
- Enable the project team to deliver cost, schedule, and quality results that meet customer and contractual obligations.
- Develop and deploy suitable project management methodologies and tools to manage the project effectively.
- Implement and maintain a compliant Earned Value Management System (EVMS) for the project.
- Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Key qualifications and experience:
- 5+ years of demonstrable project coordination experience and 5+ years of experience working in performance-based contracting.
- Previous experience in project coordination with Defence/Commercial contracts.
- Experience in project coordination within the Shipbuilding/Repair Industry.
- Project coordination certification through a professional body.
- Demonstrable experience with Ship Management.
- Degree or trade qualification in a recognised maritime discipline.
