Jirgens civil is a Civil Construction company based in the Shoalhaven on the NSW South coast. We focus on complex and challenging civil and infrastructure projects for local government agencies including Dept of Defence, Director of National parks, National Parks and Wildlife service, Booderee National Park and Shoalhaven City Council.
We are currently looking for a Site Foreman to join our team on a full time basis. We are looking for genuine, mature, balanced, capable person that has a desire to be apart of an established, respected, growing company. We are currently looking for an experienced Site Foreman to join our dedicated team.
Jirgens Civil has set a true benchmark in the civil construction sector and this is your chance to join the team and to put your stamp on these projects.
You will work collaboratively with an experienced and proven Project Manager, inherit a trusted Leading Hand and crew of qualified and hardworking personnel, and work closely with clients to deliver the goods.
About the role
- Forecasting and programming
- Managing labour, subcontractors, equipment and materials
- Effective leadership of the construction team
- Administration including timesheets, delivery dockets and site diary
- Start ups, toolboxes, site inductions and checking tickets
- Mitigating and incident reports
What you need:
- Experience in Civil Construction including Earthworks, Civil Infrastructure & Subdivision projects, including Road/Pavement Construction, Storm water/Drainage, Asset Utilities and Services
- Experience Integrated Management System compliance
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Focus on maintaining strong HSE&Q culture
- Good computer skills to complete reports and associated documentation
