We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator (Civil Engineer) to join our team.

The successful candidate must work well independently and in a team, be reliable and take responsibility and pride into their work.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Preparation of estimates, bar schedules detailing diameters, grades, shape of bars for production using ASA Software
  • Preparing shop drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and marking plan using Bluebeam
  • Printing tags & delivery tickets using the software.
  • Accurately take off reinforcing steel and preparation of cutting list (works schedule) of reinforcing for manufacture and delivery
  • Responsible for interpreting specifications, drawings, plans, and procedures to estimate and quantify reinforcements for both precast and insitu concrete structures.
  • Actively promote our products and services to customers to generate maximum sales and margins
  • Communicating with builders, engineers, suppliers, customers, production and site personnel
  • Prioritising plans/ scheduling to ensure on time delivery
  • Displaying initiative and proactiveness and the ability to see the big picture
  • Providing input/ feedback for product development and to enhance the builder's experience
  • Prepare and maintain documents for all jobs/orders
  • Responsible for QA Check
  • Monitoring changes to designs, assessing effects on cost, and measuring, valuing and negotiating variations to designs
  • Complying with relevant guidelines and regulations

To be successful for this role, you will have the following skills/experience:

  • A bachelor degree or higher in Civil Engineering
  • At least 2-3 years experience working as a civil engineer or in a similar role
  • Experience in estimating, shop drawings, contract administration, bar bending schedules
  • Strong technical skills with experience in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft application, Bluebeam is necessary
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound understanding of Civil, Structural & Architectural drawings
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to ensure on time delivery
  • Independently handling of the project and ability to multi-task
  • Good team player
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Experience in metal fabrication works and project management will be highly regarded
  • Critical thinker with excellent problem-solving skill
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude

Shift schedule: 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday
