Operations Supervisor

As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading our PM operations – this will involve handling all FedEx products with a major focus on domestic priority and international freight.
Your focus will be to drive operational excellence by managing and controlling aspects of the operations whilst developing and influencing positive team outcomes. Comprehensive knowledge and experience in the areas of operations/logistics, sales, industrial relations, and contemporary leadership principles are important.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and empower our team to deliver exceptional service through effective communication, leadership, and performance management.
- Analyse operational results and take proactive measures to meet targets for service quality, cost optimization, and loss prevention.
- Cultivate a customer-centric culture by implementing initiatives that enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
- Utilise standard tools for reporting, measurement, and resource management to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness..
- Identify training needs and develop strategies for team development and growth
About You
- Experience in an operations environment
- Proficiency in operational technology and tools
- Track record of driving continuous improvement and achieving results
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment
- Demonstrated experience in training, coaching, and team management
- People management experience, preferably in operations.
