Your new role
As Workshop Supervisor, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the maintenance team and ensuring our fleet remains roadworthy and compliant. You'll oversee day-to-day workshop operations, allocate tasks to trade staff, perform mechanical repairs, and support the Workshop Manager in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality service outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and supporting trade staff in vehicle servicing and repairs
- Performing mechanical duties and diagnostics
- Ensuring workshop safety, compliance, and equipment maintenance
- Managing records, stock levels, and shift handovers
- Liaising with manufacturers and internal teams regarding vehicle availability
What you'll need to succeed
- Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in heavy vehicle maintenance
- Strong diagnostic and computer-based mechanical skills
- MR licence and computer literacy
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- A proactive, safety-first approach to workshop operations
