The Outback Pie Co, is a major national and international pie manufacturer based in Townsville, North Qld. An award-winning company and leading convenience food innovator, we supply a range of major national customers.

Our business continues to grow and to met that demand we require additional members to join our Bakery Production, Packing and Cleaning teams.

Job Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Production/ Packing line setup and pre-operational checks.
  • Operate and clean down production lines.
  • Manual handling job duties.
  • Cleaning of industrial equipment and facility.
  • Perform quality checks and ensure products are manufactured to specification.
  • Report all non-conformances to supervisors.
  • Adhere to all company policies.
  • Satisfactorily complete mandatory company training modules in food handling, Quality and WH&S.
  • Be a supportive team player, willing to learn multiple skills, and perform tasks in accordance with prescribed safe work procedures.
  • Be reliable, punctual and display a strong work ethic.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Written & verbal communication required

No specific skills required as training is provided, however bakery or food processing experience will be an advantage. There is room to grow within the business for the right candidates.
