We're currently looking for a casual Chef to join our Spotless team.

We currently have casual position available for Chef to join the Spotless team located at Perth Immigration Detention Centre. Spotless, as a subcontractor to Secure Journeys, will be responsible for preparing and serving culturally diverse, nutritious meals contributing to the overall health and well-being of those in the centres.

What you'll do

  • Assemble, prepare, and produce food requirements as directed by the Catering Manager, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, stock control, and compliance with all kitchen policies.
  • Ensure adherence to the HACCP Food Safety Plan, monitor food safety standards, and complete all Food Safety Documentation accurately and on time.
  • Monitor and enforce food storage standards using FIFO principles, maintaining proper holding temperatures for perishable items.
  • Uphold Spotless' Standards of Business Conduct and contribute to a culture of safety and continuous quality improvement.

What you'll bring

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
  • Knowledge of menu and nutritional standards.
  • Strong understanding of HACCP Food Safety guidelines.
  • Proven bulk cooking skills (Aged Care or Resources experience highly regarded).
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to high-quality outcomes.
