The Bungalow Hotel is currently seeking Duty Managers for a full-time position in the Cairns, Far North Queensland, at a well-established venue. The ideal candidate will possess experience in Hospitality Management.

Candidates must have a minimum of 1-2 years of hospitality management experience.

This Position is not a Sponsorship Role.

Only permanent residents are eligible to apply for this position.

As a family-owned business, we believe in allowing our employees to spend Christmas Day with their families.

Candidates must be available for day shifts, night shifts, weekends, and day shifts. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with daily operations and ensuring seamless functionality between the beverage and gaming areas to uphold a high level of customer satisfaction.

Applicants must have at least 1+ years of gaming operations experience to effectively manage gaming area responsibilities.

As a Duty Manager, your role will encompass the following responsibilities:

  • Flexible availability, including day, night, weekends, and public holidays
  • Leadership capabilities with a strong focus on hospitality and people management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of venue compliance, regulations, and operations
  • Training, motivating, and ongoing development of staff
  • Developing promotions and initiatives
  • Managing the venue's appearance and atmosphere

The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications:

  • Experience in various aspects of the hospitality industry
  • Reliable transportation
  • Time management, problem solving, and attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong organizational, motivational, and conflict resolution abilities
  • RSA, RSG, and TAB certificates must be held at the time of application.
  • RMLV and Approved Manager's License (willingness to obtain)
