AXIS Computing is an Australian IT Company providing technical resources across Australia and New Zealand, not just in the capital cities, but also for the regional centres. Covering a range of supply, support and installation services, for both local and multinational organisations.

About You

We have an opportunity for a customer facing technician in a unique environment.

  • Onsite customer facing role. Must enjoy helping people and have good communication skills.
  • Essential to have experienced in software/hardware deployment and maintenance.
  • A working knowledge of networks, Microsoft operating systems and Active Directory is important.
  • Contract role, so need own ABN, insurance, transport to get to site.

Responsibilities

  • Onsite support, with rostered shifts including after-hour, weekend and public holiday coverage.
  • Supporting PCs, printers, kiosks and other related devices.
  • Escalation for service if not a simple issue that can be resolved.
  • Deployment of systems and updates.
  • General maintenance of equipment.
  • Approximately 4 months duration, until the end of January 2026
