About the Opportunity
We are on the lookout for a customer obsessed Key Account Manager who is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with retail banner groups within ALM's Contracted Customer network. Acting as the primary liaison between ALM and key accounts, the Key Account Manager plays a vital role in sustaining long-term partnerships, uncovering growth opportunities, and enhancing the overall value proposition offered to contracted customers. This role is a full-time, permanent opportunity based out of our Macquarie Park office. The role is heavily customer service focused, ensuring the contracted customers have the best possible support provided by ALM.
In this Role
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with key stakeholders across national and state banner groups contracted to ALM.
- Facilitate and manage supply agreements with strategic customer groups, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Proactively manage and resolve operational issues raised by banner groups and their members, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
- Monitor and manage pricing and margin alignment across banner groups, ensuring financial elements are processed accurately and within required timeframes.
- Manage demand planning linked to banner group expectations and product promotional programs.
- Support the onboarding of new customers, ensuring all credit, ordering, and distribution details are established.
- Address customer concerns promptly, implement preventative measures, and engage local BDMs for support where necessary.
- Maintain a deep understanding of your customer portfolio and provide valuable feedback and insights to internal stakeholders.
You're Likely a Match If
- Previous experience in a customer service/customer facing role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain internal/external relationships
- Possess a solutions-oriented mindset, going above and beyond for the customer
- Liquor/FMCG experience is highly desirable but not essential
