We are on a growth trajectory, and we are looking for a dynamic practice manager for our practice to join our supportive team and lead us into the future We want you to bring your skills and expertise to help us to continue our growth.

About the role

The Role

This is a dual role of part-time reception and part-time admin.

As our practice manager, you will:

  • Be the face of the practice to greet patients over the phone and on reception.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring seamless workflow and exceptional patient experiences.
  • Lead and support a motivated team of clinicians, nurses, and admin staff. Involvement in the hiring and onboarding of new staff.
  • Manage financial and operational aspects, including financial reconciliation, rosters, budgets, and compliance.
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), financial metrics, and practice operations to the owners.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture aligned with our values of compassion, teamwork, and professionalism.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and innovation within the practice.

Skills and experience

To excel in this position, you will need to have the following attributes:

  • Proven experience in a receptionist role (dental/healthcare experience preferred). Prior experience in a management or leadership role will be highly regarded
  • Strong skills in preparing, analysing, and presenting operational and financial reports.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to build rapport with staff and patients.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • Knowledge of dental practice software (experience with Dental4Web is a plus).
  • A proven track record of punctuality and reliability
  • Strong administration skills, including Microsoft suite of products
  • Positive attitude and mindset
  • Be well presented and professional
  • Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task
