Are you an experienced talent acquisition professional with a passion for senior executive recruitment and a talent for engaging top-tier leaders? We have an exciting opportunity for a Talent and Mobility Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition and Strategy group in a high-impact role where you'll lead our executive search function and support internal mobility for non-executive employees impacted by organisational change, ensuring timely and effective redeployment outcomes.

As the Talent and Mobility Specialist, you will develop forward-thinking attraction strategies, proactively engage with top-tier talent, and deliver seamless recruitment experiences for our internal clients. You'll also play a critical role in supporting the NSW Government's Workforce Mobility Placement Program, working closely with impacted employees to identify suitable opportunities and to coordinate end-to-end redeployment outcomes.

In this varied and rewarding role, you'll also lead candidate sourcing, industry research, market mapping and talent pipeline development for executive roles; and develop tools and resources that continuously improve our approach to senior executive recruitment. Your insights and expertise will help shape our long-term workforce strategy and contribute to delivering a world-class public service.

What you will bring to the role

We're looking for someone who has a strategic mindset and continuous improvement lens, always looking for ways to enhance processes and outcomes. You'll have strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders to understand their unique resourcing needs. You'll also thrive in a fast-paced environment and have proven experience in executive search and direct sourcing, with a proactive and creative approach to talent acquisition.

It is essential that you have a strong attention to detail, coupled with the ability to use data-driven insights such as LinkedIn Talent Insights to inform sourcing strategies based on current market trends. You'll also bring proven experience in providing an elite customer experience at all touch points for your stakeholders with a focus on delivering a high standard of candidate care.

This is your opportunity to contribute to meaningful change while developing your own skills in a collaborative, future-focused team. If you're ready to take the next step in your recruitment career and lead initiatives with real impact, we'd love to hear from you

What is an essential requirement:

  • Sound experience in senior executive recruitment best practice including recruitment approaches, marketing and social media initiatives and policies, processes, and legislative requirements.
