About the role
Join the team at APM Property Maintenance as a Property Maintenance & Handyman. In this casual role, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of property maintenance and handyman services to our clients in and around the metropolitan area of South Australia.
Job Type: Casual position with full-time hours – 7:30am to 4pm Monday to Friday
What you'll be doing
- Perform property repairs including basic carpentry skills, plasterboard patching & flushing including base coat and topcoat, painting, silicone application, door locks, fixing doors, gate repairs, clothesline installation and all other various basic property repairs.
- Performing handyman services including assembling furniture, hanging shelves, and completing other odd jobs
- Keeping accurate records of all work completed and materials used
- Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently, timely and to a high standard
- Carrying out all types of small jobs (1-3hrs per job) to larger jobs over 1-to-3-day period
- Adhering to all relevant health and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a property maintenance or handyman role
- Strong practical skills and the ability to work with a variety of tools, including hand tools and equipment
- You will need to provide your own basic tools
- Good time management and the ability to work efficiently to deadlines
- Great customer service skills and a friendly, professional manner
- Flexibility to work a casual schedule as and when required
- A current driver's licence and access to reliable transportation
- White card essential
- Police clearance required
