Intermediate Accountant
 to join our professional and friendly team in Rockingham.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of industries, preparing financial statements, tax returns, and supporting clients with sound business advice. Working closely with senior accountants and partners, you'll also gain exposure to strategic advisory work that goes beyond compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
  • BAS, IAS, FBT, and payroll tax preparation and review.
  • Supporting clients with tax planning and business improvement strategies.
  • Assisting senior accountants and managers with complex advisory and compliance tasks.
  • Liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies.
  • Maintaining high professional standards and strong client relationships.

About You

You're an enthusiastic and motivated professional who enjoys working collaboratively in a supportive environment. You take ownership of your work and have a genuine interest in helping clients achieve their goals.

To succeed in this role, you'll have:

  • 2–4 years of public practice experience in accounting or business services.
  • A degree in Accounting, Commerce, or related discipline.
  • Progress towards (or completion of) the 
    CA/CPA
     qualification.
  • Sound understanding of Australian tax legislation.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (Xero experience highly regarded).
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
