Job Description
- This is just the start, so dream big
- Bring your procurement expertise to this exciting new role.
- We're looking for an open-minded, positive individual who thrives on navigating new challenges.
We're thrilled to introduce a fantastic opportunity to join our Procurement team as a Governance, Supplier Risk & Sustainability Specialist.
In this pivotal role, reporting to the Senior Governance, Risk & Sustainability Manager - Procurement, you'll be instrumental in developing, implementing, and maintaining robust governance frameworks (think procurement policies, processes, and templates), cutting-edge supplier risk management frameworks, and impactful sustainability initiatives.
These initiatives, including Responsible Sourcing, Human Rights, our Reconciliation Action Plan, and Climate Change Strategy, are all about creating long-term value for Endeavour Group and our valued stakeholders.
Sounds good? Read on
Here is a taste of what you can expect in this role:
- Procurement Governance & Compliance: You will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of robust procurement policies, procedures, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Documentation & Data Integrity: Assist us in maintaining the integrity of our procurement records and documents.
- Lead Reporting & Compliance: Take the lead on reporting activities to showcase our compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. You'll be fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct within our procurement function.
- Champion Supplier Risk Management: Support supplier risk management framework development and implementation. Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate supplier risks to enhance business continuity and operational resilience.
- Drive Sustainability Initiatives: Get ready to support the development and implementation of key sustainability initiatives (like our Responsible Sourcing Program, Human Rights Initiatives, Reconciliation Action Plan, and our Climate Change Strategy). You'll be promoting environmentally responsible practices and ethical sourcing throughout our entire supply chain, and providing crucial procurement support to other departments (e.g. Sustainability, Finance) to ensure continuous improvement.
- Monitor & Improve: Contribute to monitoring and reporting on vital sustainability metrics (including scope 3 emissions), tracking our progress, and pinpointing areas where we can shine even brighter.
- Collaborate for Impact: Work hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate sustainability considerations into source-to-contract procurement processes. You'll be collaborating with stakeholders across our diverse business.
Qualifications
Now let's talk about you:
- You'll bring at least 3 years of procurement or procurement-related experience to the table.
- You have a strong understanding of responsible procurement, supplier risk management, and procurement governance principles and processes, and a sound understanding of end-to-end procurement.
- You're a whiz with data analysis, critical thinking and problem-solving, able to interpret complex data and make informed decisions. Proficiency with reporting tools is a plus, and a willingness to learn new technologies is essential.
- Your communication and interpersonal skills are top-notch, allowing you to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- You have a proven track record of driving results and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- You thrive in a fast-paced procurement environment, demonstrating excellent time management and work prioritisation skills
- You possess a keen eye for detail - it's your superpower.
- A tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Law, or a related field is preferred, with any Sustainability or Risk experience being highly regarded (but not essential).
The benefits are good too
- We offer flexible working in every sense
- An exclusive discount card for BWS, Dan Murphy's, Woolworths, BIG W and other Endeavour Group brands, including our ALH pubs
- Monthly meeting-free days
- Your health and wellbeing is your most important asset, and as one of our valued team members, it's our first priority. You will have a range of free services to help you live well and support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing
- Endeavour Group is full of opportunities - use our dedicated learning and development options to grow an idea, yourself, and your career. This is just the start, so dream big.
At Endeavour, we value being a workplace where everyone's welcome - if you meet a number of the requirements (and not all), we encourage you to apply.
