Role Description

This is a contract-based hybrid role, based in Richmond, VIC, with the flexibility of occasional remote work. The Editor will be responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality editorial content, including reviewing, editing, and improving written materials. The role involves managing content submissions, working with writers to enhance their work, maintaining publishing schedules, and ensuring consistency in tone and style. In addition, the Editor will work to align content with the company's voice and purpose to engage target audiences.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Editing, Proofreading, and Content Review
  • Proficiency in Content Strategy, Writing, and Story Development
  • Knowledge of Digital Media, Online Publishing Platforms, and Content Optimization
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
  • Experience in journalism, communications, or similar fields
  • Passion for soccer, sports, and knowledge of the industry is advantageous
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related discipline preferred
