Role Description

This is a contract Freelance Journalist role based in Richmond, VIC, with hybrid work arrangements allowing for some work from home. The role involves writing and reporting football-related news, crafting press releases, conducting thorough research, and delivering high-quality content within deadlines. Responsibilities also include collaborating with other team members and occasionally engaging in broadcasting tasks to provide coverage that supports and uplifts the football industry.

Qualifications

• Experience in Writing, News Writing, and crafting engaging Press Releases
• Strong Research skills to gather and verify information
• Knowledge or experience in Broadcasting is an advantage
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Passion for football and understanding of the football industry is a plus
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively
• Relevant qualifications or experience in Journalism, Communication, or related fields
