As the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you'll manage the full AP process for Hungry Jack's and CFAL, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and on time. You'll lead a team of seven AP professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement.

In this role, you'll drive efficiency through process and systems enhancement, maintain strong financial controls, and build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices.
  • Oversee supplier account reconciliations and AP aging reports.
  • Provide monthly reports summarising AP activities.
  • Act as the main contact for invoice and payment queries
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of seven AP staff.
  • Allocate workloads and ensure adequate coverage during busy periods.
  • Conduct team meetings and performance reviews to support growth and engagement.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards.
  • Assist with audit processes and compliance reporting (including Payment Times Reporting).
  • Maintain accurate and timely lodgment of compliance returns.
  • Identify opportunities for process and systems improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimise workflows and leverage technology.

About You

You're a proactive leader with a passion for people and process improvement. You're detail-oriented, collaborative, and thrive in a high-volume environment.

Essential Experience & Qualifications

  • 7+ years' experience in an Accounts Payable supervisory role within a high-volume environment.
  • Proven experience leading AP teams (5+ members).
  • Strong proficiency in large ERP systems (Oracle Fusion preferred).
  • Demonstrated capability in process improvement and system optimisation.
  • Experience in QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) or multi-site organisations highly regarded.
