We are looking for a Low-code (Outsystems) Developer to work on a 12-month engagement, developing and deploying complex web applications. The role requires specific experience with low-code platforms.

Key duties and responsibilities:

As an Application Developer, you will be accountable for:

  • Providing systems analysis, technical recommendations, and inputs to business requirements and solution/UI designs for OutSystems applications.
  • Providing detailed design and proof of concept of common components, workflows and functionalities.
  • Developing, unit-testing and deploying the Outsystems applications.
  • Ensuring that the applications delivered are aligned with project outcomes and architectural designs and patterns.
  • Ensuring that the applications delivered are WCAG and Security Compliant.
  • Ensuring that development, coding, privacy, and security standards are adhered to.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation, development best practices and guideline
  • Contributing to the continuous improvements to applications, environments, and processes
  • Providing advice, coaching and knowledge transfer to junior staff as required.

Mandatory experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in developing and deploying complex web applications

  • Experience with one or more of the following low-code platforms; OutSystems, Mendix, Oracle APEX, Appian, Power Apps, Zoho, Quickbase, Creatio, Nintex or Pega

  • Developing and deploying one of these applications is an advantage

  • A tertiary qualification in IT, engineering or other relevant degree is desirable.

  • Must be Australian citizen

To add, having the ability to work independently with limited supervision and be accountable for outcomes.
  • Stakeholder engagement and communication - Build, maintain and utilise networks and relationships within ASIC and across domestic and international stakeholders and regulatory bodies. An ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • Technological adeptness - The demonstrated ability to apply different technologies to gather information and process evidence efficiently and effectively; understand the communication and technological systems.
