An exciting opportunity exists for a Trades Assistant at RTE Custom Trucks in Darra, QLD 4076.

Requirements

  • Mechanical knowledge (trade qualifications not required)
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Dependable, reliable, and a positive team player
  • Beneficial to have your own tools
  • Must live and have working rights in Australia

Responsibilities

  • Assembling and disassembling various truck parts, including fuel tanks, mudguards, and interior trim
  • Fitting mirror-finish stainless accessories with precision
  • Assisting tradespersons as required to meet project deadlines
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times
  • Performing quality checks to uphold stringent quality control standards
  • Communicating effectively with supervisors and work collaboratively as part of a team
