In this role, you will collaborate closely with various business lines, reporting directly to the National Learning and Development Manager. Your mission will be to design and deliver innovative training programs and initiatives tailored for our Mortgage Broker network and internal staff.

You'll bring a wealth of experience in navigating change within large organisations, leading training sessions both in-person and online. Your deep understanding of adult learning principles and your knack for crafting engaging learning materials - be it eLearning modules, PDFs, videos, or help articles - will be invaluable. Collaborating with subject matter experts to develop training content and seamlessly utilising tools like Articulate 360, Asana, Filmora and Zoom will be second nature to you.

  • Support the change management of new software and initiatives within the business through effective communications and training delivery.
  • Project management of all training programs, projects and initiatives within the business.
  • Facilitate live training sessions for a range of audiences, using a variety of formats (face-to-face, online meeting).
  • Administer and manage training events using AFG's Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Business partnering with internal leaders to design and deliver bespoke training solutions, based on needs.
  • Provide training support and advice to internal AFG teams on content design, delivery methods, and learner engagement.
  • Review the effectiveness of training initiatives and prepare reports.

Experience and Skills

We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience in a learning and development role, who has successfully project-managed large initiatives to delivery. Hands-on experience administering a learning management system, preferably Litmos, to a large learner group is essential.

Experience within the financial services industry is desirable, along with a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and a tertiary qualification in a related discipline such as Training, Human Resource Management, Psychology, or Adult Learning.

If you have exceptional organisational and time management skills, combined with a growth mindset and a passion developing impactful learning experiences, we want to hear from you
