Disability Support Worker – Spinal Cord Injury

Permanent Part-Time| Immediate Start

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our team, supporting a male client with a spinal cord injury requiring high care needs.

About the Role

You will provide personalised support in the client's home, including:

  • Personal care (hygiene and grooming)
  • Bowel care and catheter care
  • PEG feeding and medication administration
  • Meal preparation and light domestic assistance
  • Supporting independence and quality of life

Line 1:

43.5 hours per fortnight set roster****

  • Week 1:
  • Monday: 7:00pm - 11:00pm
  • Wednesday: 6:00am - 2:30pm
  • Friday: 10:00pm - 8:00am (active)
  • Saturday: 7:00pm - 11:00pm
  • Sunday: 7:00pm - 11:00pm
  • Week 2:
  • Thursday: 10:00pm - 8:00am (active)
  • Friday: 7:00pm - 11:00pm
  • Sunday: 7:00pm - 11:00pm

Line 6:

62.5 hours per fortnight set roster

  • Week 1:
  • Monday: 10:00pm - 8:00am (active)
  • Thursday: 6:00am - 2:30pm
  • Saturday: 2:00pm - 10:30pm
  • Sunday: 2:00pm - 10:30pm
  • Week 2:
  • Monday: 10:00pm - 8:00am (active)
  • Wednesday: 6:00am - 2:30pm
  • Thursday: 6:00am - 2:30pm

Please note: All shifts must be completed in full by the same support worker. Commitment to the full roster is essential and cannot be amended.Pay Rates

(SCHADS Award – Permanent Part-Time, Above Award + Leave Entitlements)

  • Day shift: $34.19
  • Afternoon shift (ends between 8pm and midnight, Mon–Fri): $38.46
  • Active night shift (finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Mon–Fri): $39.32
  • Saturday: $51.29
  • Sunday: $68.38
  • Public holiday: $85.48
