The Fundraising & Engagement Coordinator (WA) is a relationship-driven role responsible for growing the fundraising capacity of
Breakthrough T1D
through meaningful engagement with the T1D community, corporate partners and other key stakeholders. You'll activate and support a portfolio of fundraising events and campaigns—including
One Walk
,
Giving Day
, and a range of
Community Fundraising
initiatives—and work closely with the national Fundraising & Engagement team to cultivate relationships that mobilise our community to fundraise.

Success in this role relies on the timely delivery of select national campaigns and programs, targeted relationship management across multiple channels, and state-based administration and volunteer coordination.

You will be accountable for delivering role-specific campaign and program KPIs, within budget and in collaboration with Breakthrough T1D colleagues.

This is a
part-time
position, expected to be
three days per week
.

Essential Overview

  • Advanced relationship management and business development skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport, build relationships, generate commitment and motivate people.
  • Highly organised, able to coordinate multiple events, people and campaigns in a fast-paced environment with varied timelines and responsibilities.
  • Engaging, professional and personable, with experience in relationship management and volunteer and/or event management.
  • Accountable and driven; fundraising-focused and solution-oriented; able to work autonomously and as part of a wider team.
  • Flexible, adaptable and agile.

Essential Knowledge and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in the not-for-profit sector with a focus on relationship fundraising.
  • Proven experience cultivating supporters to engage with—and fundraise for—a not-for-profit organisation.
  • Track record of nurturing and growing community fundraising and/or community partnerships.
  • Strong administrative, computer literacy and customer service skills.
  • Solid database skills (preferably Salesforce) and the ability to learn new systems as required.
  • Demonstrated experience in volunteer management and coordination, with the ability to encourage, support, motivate and inspire for collaborative outcomes.
