Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled, values-driven professional with strong integrity to join our team as a Senior Indigenous Business Support Officer. This vital role will focus on expanding business opportunities, supporting mining and maintenance operations, and assisting members in growing their businesses within our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business development initiatives to create new opportunities and partnerships.
  • Provide support and guidance to members in their business activities, fostering growth and sustainability.
  • Support mining and maintenance operations, ensuring alignment with community interests, organisational values and growth.
  • Develop and increase relationships with stakeholders, including industry partners, government agencies, and community members.
  • Enable opportunity for growth for PKKP Enterprises
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and implementation of organisational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, Work Health and Safety and relevant regulations and uphold high standards of integrity and ethical conduct.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in business development, community engagement, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of mining, maintenance, business growth, 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Strong alignment with Indigenous business support networks
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement
