Genus Infrastructure is expanding rapidly, and we are seeking a driven and detail-focused Business Support Officer (BSO) to provide project administration and mobilisation support to our team.

The successful candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment and enjoys staying actively engaged, this role offers a dynamic opportunity to take ownership of key administrative and mobilisation functions. 

Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Coordinating end-to-end mobilisation of personnel to mine and remote construction sites
  • Booking pre-employment medicals, drug & alcohol screens, and site-specific clearances
  • Ensuring all required licences, tickets, qualifications and site inductions are current and collected per site-specific requirements
  • Maintaining and updating the Training Matrix and personnel compliance records
  • Managing Definitiv timesheet entries and cross-checking blue-collar hours
  • Booking and coordinating FIFO travel logistics - flights, accommodation, site access
  • Collaborating with management for accurate, timely updates on key issues.
  • Providing on-call support during key mobilisation windows (rostered)
  • General project administration and ADHOC support to project teams and Project Managers.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Prior experience in a similar role is essential, with specific experience in mobilisation for FMG, Rio Tinto, or BHP being highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office Suite, databases & digital mobilisation tools
  • Exceptional organisational skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Resilience and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • A flexible outlook, with a willingness to learn
  • Ready for an immediate start.
