About the Role
The Education and Facilitation Advisor supports the delivery and adaptation of high-quality education sessions that build capability in work health and safety, psychosocial risk management, and injury prevention. This externally facing role works with employers across NI and TMF to improve workplace practices and enable safer outcomes through education and engagement. This role sits within the Prevention and Risk Advisory Team and will support the development and delivery of training aligned with both the Nominal Insurer (NI) scheme and the Treasury Managed Fund (TMF). The specialist will facilitate face-to-face and virtual learning sessions across NSW, adapt content to suit different industries and audiences, and contribute to the continuous improvement of training solutions in collaboration with internal experts and stakeholders.

Duties

Prevention Education and Facilitation Specialist
you will:
- Facilitate face-to-face and virtual training sessions for employers, brokers, and other stakeholders, delivering education aligned with WHS, psychosocial risk, return to work, and due diligence.
- Adapt existing training materials and presentation approaches to suit the needs of specific customer segments, industries, and delivery modes.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), project leads, and customers to design or refine educational sessions and supporting materials.
- Contribute to pilot delivery of new sessions and capture insights for continuous improvement.
- Deliver engaging and inclusive sessions using appropriate facilitation techniques.
- Contribute to the development of new training products including webinars and elearns, working closely with the broader education and content teams across icare.
- Represent the Prevention and Risk Advisory Team in session delivery settings, promoting evidence-based practices.
- Track participation and feedback data to inform delivery improvements.
- Maintain knowledge of WHS and psychosocial issues relevant to education topics.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience delivering facilitated sessions in WHS, health, education, or related field.
- Demonstrated experience with virtual and in-person facilitation across varied audiences.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support learner engagement.
- Experience adapting learning materials and content to different industries, organisational contexts, or learner groups.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to adapt delivery to audience needs.
- Foundational knowledge of work health and safety, psychosocial hazards, and/or return to work principles.
- Willingness to travel for session delivery as required across NSW.
