At Cabrini, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients and community. Our Cabrini at Home service delivers high-quality care to patients outside the hospital setting – and we're looking for an Administration Assistant to join our team and help us make this possible.
About the role
As an Administration Assistant, you'll be the friendly and professional first point of contact for patients and families engaging with our At Home programs. In this varied role, you'll support the day-to-day operations of the service, assist staff, and ensure smooth coordination across teams – all while contributing to an excellent patient experience.
Key responsibilities
- Provide reception, clerical, and administrative support to staff, doctors, and patients within Cabrini at Home
- Process patient registration, admissions, financial consents, and related documentation with accuracy and care
- Enter and maintain information in hospital systems (WebPAS and others)
- Assist with billing processes in collaboration with Patient Accounts and Health Fund teams
- Coordinate equipment allocation, reconciliation, and maintenance
- Ensure timely communication across clinical teams and services
- Contribute to quality improvement activities and maintain strict confidentiality at all times
About you

Essential skills and experience:
- Certificate III or equivalent experience
- Strong administrative and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with IT systems and hospital administration processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain confidentiality
- Knowledge of medical terminology (desirable)
